Who Am I?

Sounds like such an existentialist question, doesn’t it?

But often in life, we are trying to find our self-identity. We go through different challenges and phases in life, and are constantly trying to prove ourselves to others. We go through quarter-life, mid-life, and end-of-life crises trying to figure out what the heck our purpose is on this Earth anyways.

Reader, have you figured out who you are yet?

With my limited life experience, I will describe myself with some conventionalities. I am biracial: half-Filipino, half-White. I am Catholic. English is my first and only language. (I do have some basic understanding of Tagalog). I am a college student.

Now I will cast off the conventionalities. I find nerds attractive. I couldn’t tell you a believable lie if I tried. I dance in empty hardware aisles at the home improvement store. My laughter is so unique and obnoxious, you’d be able to find me in a filled room just by listening. My hair looks like a mess even after I’ve brushed it twice.

With such little information, you can hardly deduce my entire character…

Have I intrigued you yet, Reader? If you are interested in learning more about this wacky young adult, READ ON my friend!

  2. I struggle with this question ~ but I suppose I am a pretty weird guy!

    • All the best people are! 🙂 I think it’s something that people struggle with their entire lives, because we are always evolving and changing as people. We are shaped by our experiences, relationships, passing time. We are never in the same place for too long, especially you! Always traveling 🙂
